For decades now HIH Real Estate (HIH) has been bundling the real estate-related investment and service activities of the Warburg Group. With over 13.5 billion EUR of assets under management HIH Real Estate is one of Germany’s largest real estate managers. The focus of activities is on portfolio and asset management as well as property management, letting management and project development. Headquartered in Hamburg, HIH maintains branches and subsidiaries with 470 employees in total. HIH’s asset management division develops, steers and manages the real estate properties entrusted to its care.
With managed assets worth approx. 5,1 billion EUR and some 2.4 million m² of leasing space, HIH is one of Germany’s leading independent asset managers. A core aspect
of the company’s asset management activities is long-term income optimization and the associated value appreciation of the real estate assets for which HIH is responsible. In keeping with this
remit, the Asset Management division develops individual strategies for the properties concerned as well as initiating and monitoring their implementation. When doing so, the company also takes
on the role of the building and project owner on the client’s behalf. HIH’s Asset Management division thus handles both premium refurbishment projects and the entire spectrum of complex project
